Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Finance Ledger for Mac from finance-ledger.kernyard.com. The seller is James Erringham-Bruce, a sole trader trading as Kernyard (“Kernyard”, “we”, “us”).

Effective date: 9 September 2026.

Digital download — no refunds

Finance Ledger for Mac is a downloadable digital product. Once payment succeeds and download access is provided, the software cannot be returned. For that reason, all sales are final: we do not offer refunds for change of mind, duplicate purchase by mistake after delivery, or because you no longer wish to use the app.

How purchase and delivery work

You pay through Stripe Checkout. After a successful payment you are directed to a confirmation page where you can download the Mac installer via a private, time-limited link. Completing checkout and receiving that download access constitutes delivery of the digital product.

Updates

Your one-time purchase includes access to future updates of Finance Ledger for Mac that we make available, at no extra charge. Inclusion of updates does not create a right to a refund.

Payment or download problems

If something goes wrong with fulfilment—for example your card was charged but you cannot obtain the download, or Stripe shows a failed payment while you believe you paid—contact us promptly so we can help complete delivery. We aim to fix genuine delivery failures; that is not the same as a refund for a successful download.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude rights that cannot be excluded under applicable UK consumer law. Where digital content is supplied and you have an unwaivable statutory remedy, those rights still apply.
